Then, any attempt to use the Kerio Outlook connector (KOC Offline) to set up his Outlook 2010 profile died with the "Error Cannot open your default email folders. It apparently didn't cause any problems until we migrated him to his new Windows 7 computer from his old Windows XP box (Yeah, I know, we're not exactly cutting edge here). It was an empty folder, just hanging out in his Kerio folder structure. ![]() He had no idea how he got that folder there, but it wasn't deliberate. In my case, it was caused by an end user who had a folder in his profile named something like " Other - SCOTT - ". "Error Cannot open your default email folders. When messing with the email profile on the client i also managed to get the error "Cannot open your default email folders. We run Kerio 7.3.1 patch 2 and this is so far the only client that i have seen the issue on. So far i have removed and reinstalled the connector (including the folder in appdata) and recreated the profile a few times. After about a minute the error "Cannot open your default email folders. I have download and installed the 32bit connector from from inside the webmail and configured the profile using the cmd file.īut when Outlook starts after the profile install it get stuck on "Loading Profile" (and the connector icon is visible). The new system is a Windows 7 Pro 64 bits edition running Office 2010 32bits. I got an issue with after swapping a customers computer.
